Caryn Maxfield serves as a key member of American Global’s Infrastructure Solutions team, leveraging her expertise to support clients as their risk and insurance advisor on P3 and Alternative Delivery Projects.  She also provides assistance to clients related to complex project pursuits, construction and design partner relationships and risk transfer and mitigation strategies. Caryn is an experienced attorney and former construction company executive with 18 years in the construction and surety industries.

Jim Preuss, Bond Manager – Contract, Liberty Mutual Surety
Jim Preuss worked his way through college working construction.  He graduated with a business degree in finance and real estate from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee and started his career in 1995 as a property manager / construction manager converting apartments into condominiums for Inland Real Estate.  In 2000, Jim accepted an opportunity in the surety industry. Through his 26-year career in surety, Jim has worked with large and small contractors, as well as subcontractors in various trades.

John Sebastian, Partner, Watt, Tieder, Hoffar & Fitzgerald
John Sebastian joined Watt, Tieder, Hoffar & Fitzgerald in 2013 as the managing partner of the firm’s Chicago office. He focuses his practice primarily in the areas of surety bond, construction and commercial litigation.  John counsels and advises clients on contract preparation, administration and termination, mechanics liens, and surety claims and defenses, as well as contractor, subcontractor and owner bankruptcies.
