Join members and industry colleagues as we celebrate the people, projects and partnerships that continue to shape our industry. The program will feature the prestigious CAGC Project of the Year Awards as well as honor our Community Builder Award recipient, Dan Allen, for his lasting impact on the industry and community. We will also commemorate the 25th Anniversary of the Chicagoland Construction Scholarship Foundation and recognize member companies reaching significant membership milestone anniversaries.

Keynote:

Building at the Pace of Change - Leading Your Firm Through Disruption, AI, and Whatever Else Comes Next

Construction leaders are dealing with tariffs and economic volatility, shifting legislation and political uncertainty, and AI tools that promise more than most firms can implement. Treating each issue as a separate fire leaves teams stuck in reaction mode. Leaders need repeatable ways to make decisions, adapt operations, and keep people working through change.

This keynote lays out those capabilities and the near-term moves that matter most, including how to separate useful AI applications from noise. Attendees leave with a roadmap for constant change and a clear place to start.


About the Presenter: Caleb Gardner assists leaders in making sound decisions when technology and market conditions change faster than their teams can. His work focuses on technology, human behavior, and the operating changes required to move from strategy to execution.

At 18 Coffees, where he is co-founder and managing partner, Caleb advises clients including Bose Corporation, Sirius XM, Crowe Global, Walgreens, and United Way Worldwide on organizational transformation.  He is also an adjunct professor in Loyola University Chicago’s Baumhart Scholars MBA program, a faculty affiliate in its Lab for Applied AI, and the author of No Point B: Rules for Leading Change in the New Hyper-Connected, Radically Conscious Economy.  As digital strategy director for President Barack Obama, Caleb grew the @BarackObama Twitter account into the most-followed account in the world.
