George Sollitt was a 6th generation relative of John Sollitt who began building in Chicago in 1838 and completed many notable projects including the Palmer House, Old Courthouse & Tremont Hose. The George Sollitt Construction Company was incorporated in the State of Illinois in 1935. We are 100% employee owned company since 1976. GSCC is a full service contractor providing a complete range pre-construction and construction services related to General Contracting, Construction Management, Design/Build for educational, institutional, industrial, healthcare and commercial facilities.
