The Effects of Financial Distress & Bankruptcy in the Construction Industry

The Effects of Financial Distress & Bankruptcy in the Construction Industry

Wednesday, April 10, 2024 (8:30 AM - 10:00 AM) (CDT)

Description

With the continuation of high interest rates, more companies and projects in the construction industry are facing financial distress and in extreme cases, even bankruptcy. It is important for construction companies, whether a general contractor or trade contractor, to understand their rights and obligations in such situations. Bankruptcy by an owner, supplier, specialty contractor, or general contractor in particular has dramatic and not always intuitive effects on your rights when dealing with a bankrupt party.

Please join us at member firm Much Shelist's offices to hear lawyers Dan Rosenberg and Rob Glantz advise on critical issues when dealing with financial distress and bankruptcy in the construction industry.

Light refreshments will be served; space is limited so reserve your spot today!
