Young Professionals 2026 Jobsite Tour & Happy Hour

Our members' young professionals are invited to join us for a CLC Jobsite Tour & Happy Hour event on Thursday, September 24th.

This exclusive Clark Construction jobsite tour features the historic James R. Thompson Center as it undergoes a landmark transformation into Google’s new downtown headquarters.

Clark personnel will lead attendees on this walk-through as they dive into what it takes to re-skin Helmut Jahn’s famous 17-story glass atrium, look at the challenges of replacing thousands of sloped, single-pane panels with high-efficiency triple-pane glass, rigging overhead work high above the open floor, and managing a tight site in the heart of the Loop.  At the time of the tour, the team will be focused on the atrium's grand staircase, lobbies, and exterior improvements.

Attendees must have their own PPE including hardhat/helmet, safety glasses, closed-toe shoes, and safety vest.  

After touring the site our group will walk to a nearby private venue for food, drinks, and socializing!
